There are times when life gets a little rough that all you'd like to do is find a safe place where you can hide until everything blows over. But no matter how good your hiding places are, the universe always finds you. It's human nature to want to get away from things that create drama in your life. All you want to do is live your life in peace without so much turmoil. It's not that you aren't able to handle what occurs around you, but you'd prefer not to. Sometimes when life gets too crazy, time goes by so slowly that it seems it's always been that way. But in the peaceful moments, we tend to become complacent and eventually stop evolving. Our walk down the path ceases as we sit on the many benches contemplating life. It's not easy to adapt to the changes that come our way, but as we journey forward, we grow and become much stronger. Today, enjoy your retreat for times are changing and things are going to be much more challenging in the next three years. Know that life has purpose and you will be successful in all your endeavors. Don't hide for too long, otherwise you'll forget how important it is be a part of life.

(Today, I met someone who said they were keeping a low profile for now. It's interesting that we think that we have control over how our life will transpire. I always think that I know what will happen, then the opposite occurs or nothing comes to pass. I understand that the more I hide, the more the universe seeks me out. I have faith that what will be will be, but that doesn't make life any easier.)
