No one said it was going to be easy to release the control. But you never realized how hard it would be to let others lead the way. Whether you were sure of where you were going or not, it just seemed easier and faster to get things done. But now in order to regain the balance in your life, you are more open to letting others take the leadership role. It’s not that they appointed you in the past but it’s a role that you easily slipped into. Sitting back and letting others take over seemed easy enough but it is making you uncomfortable. In fact, you have the urge to get up and take over again. You have visions of all the things that can go wrong. But sit back just a little longer and think about how you gained your experience to lead. It was through making mistakes and learning from others. That’s the gift you are giving, the opportunity to learn from in a safe environment. So know that releasing control is not only about you but about all those that you are helping. It’s time to move towards another phase in your life.
