Saying What You Mean

It's funny how often you say things just to keep the peace. Not wanting to hurt anyone's feeling or call attention to yourself, you may find it safer not to say anything at all. So is it better to remain quiet or to say something just to be a part of the conversation. It's your call, but are you really being truthful to yourself. How uncomfortable would it be if you were to share what you're really thinking? Being respectful to others, yet expressing how you really feel. Know that most people are open to what you have to say. So take a moment to decide how important it is to let others know what your thoughts are. Remember that everyone has wisdom that someone else can benefit from.
Even the stream needs to go through rough terrain...

(I'm guilty of not sharing what I feel. In theory, I understand that we all have something to contribute, but it depends on the conversation that is already taking place or what others are feeling at the time. If the other person is hurting, I may just be there to listen. I'm still learning when to share.)
