Chasing Rainbows

When did you stop believing that all things were possible? Maybe it began when you were younger and were told that wishes and dreams did not get you where you wanted to go. And as you grew older the realities of life confirmed everything you were told. So here you are, afraid to believe in your dreams or make wishes for fear of the disappointment you'll face when they never come to be. But what if it was just a matter of timing and that dreams and wishes do come true but in their own time. What do you have to lose, if you were to trust that there were possibilities waiting for you. So tonight, before you go to bed, make wish for yourself then put it aside. When you say your wishes and dreams out loud, you take ownership of your heart's desire. It's time to begin believing again that the universe has a plan for you that is beyond even what you can envision.

Sometimes I think the clouds speak to me...

(I feel that part of saying what I want out loud helps me to see the bigger picture. I am content where I am at the moment, but like all things I know I'm evolving. I hardly remember my dreams, so when I do, I sit up and listen. There are messages that come in all forms. I think dreams are one way for the universe and my spirit to get my attention.)

Watching Your Step

Sometimes even if you're really careful, you still find yourself slipping and falling. The path that you walk on is not always an easy one to maneuver. There are times when you're feeling good about where you're at that you think it's okay to walk with your head held high, then all of a sudden you find yourself stumbling over the uneven ground. So what do you do? Do you walk so carefully that you never lift your head? But if you do then you'll miss so many wonderful things that are around you. So keep your head held high and look ahead for if you do, you'll always see what is coming up. It's time for you to lift your head and see all the opportunities that are awaiting.
A sight worth seeing over and over again...

(I sometimes keep my head down when I get too busy. I figure if I keep my nose to the grind, I won't be bothered by anything else. But what happens is that my heart misses all the surprises that may come my way.)

Embracing Life

Sometimes you get to a point where you either have to embrace the life you were meant to lead or turn your back and walk away. It may sound simple enough to embrace the life you deserve, but it also comes with the unknown. There are so many "what ifs" that come into play. As bad as walking away sounds, there is a sense of comfort knowing where you've been. You are familiar with all the heartaches and disappointments that you've lived through. You know what happened and how you survived. Although you may have been hurt along the way, at least you would be prepared for what is coming. So the decision is up to you. There is no right or wrong answer, only what you are willing to live with at this time. It will take a courageous spirit to take the road less traveled, but we know you are up for the challenge. It is time for you to achieve the impossible by making it possible.
Let's journey together...

(It is scary to take what life throws at me, but I know somewhere along the way I asked for it. Although it may not be as I envisioned it to be, it comes sooner or later. When life happens, I have to take a deep breathe and take the challenge as it comes.)

Letting Go

What if you were to let go of the control you have over your life? You've been holding on so tightly for fear if you let go everything will fall apart. Everything has a place in your life. Nothing is unexpected because you won't let it. Even when things don't go the way you'd like it to, you quickly pick up the pieces and make sense of the chaos. You've always thought it was a gift that you have, but what if it was more of a coping strategy? What if the fears of failure were stronger than letting go of what you can't control? What if something wonderful were to happen without you planning for it? Why don't you see for yourself, if letting go will lead to something bigger than what you could ever envision? Trust that the universe will always be there for you whether you plan or not.
Being alone doesn't mean being lonely...

(I'm not exactly sure if I could let go if I didn't trust that the universe knows better than me. It still surprises me that the universe listens to what I have to say. Things are moving so quickly that the words I say seem to scatter to the winds and turn into reality. I acknowledge and celebrate my universal plan.)

Creating A Whole New World

When life changes so drastically, you can either turn your back on what is happening or create a whole new world for yourself. Your reality is no longer what you had planned. There are new rules that you have to live by. And although they are not what you are used to, you are somehow getting by. What was, no longer is. You've decided that the only thing to do is to take each day as it comes and do the best you can. Life will always evolve and it's up to you to go with the flow or else you will be left behind. Losing control may have been the silver lining in all the chaos.  For now you are ready to take on the unexpected. It's time for you to move forward with the best intentions.
This is where it all began...

(My world has changed in the past year. I am certainly not where I was last year. Is my life better, I'm not sure. I just know that I'm where I'm supposed to be. Getting used to a new world is a lot easier when you know that there is purpose somewhere in what has happened.)

Tell Me What You Truly Want

It's surprising when asked what you want, you may not know the answer. It seems like such an easy question. Something that you may have thought about every once and awhile. But there seems to be a difference between thinking about it and someone asking you what it is that you want. All of a sudden there seems to be an awkward pause. What is it that you truly want? The answer that was on the tip of your tongue a few moments ago, now seems stuck somewhere between your mind and your voice. It seems as if you need more time to think about it. As if what you say out loud has more power than if it remained just a thought. What if you give the wrong answer, then are you stuck with what you say? Know that it doesn't matter whether you say what you desire out loud or to yourself, it has been released to the universe either way. Everything is possible when you believe it to be true. So what is that you truly want?

Walk along the path with me...

(For some reason, I'm really good at manifesting food. I'm not sure if it's because it's such a basic want. When I crave for a specific dish, it usually comes within a day or so. I'm always surprised at how it comes to pass. I guess that's why I continue to believe in the power of our desires. It's not how the universe delivers, it's that we are heard.)

You Inspire Me

There are so many things in the universe that are inspiring, that can lift your spirit far beyond your imagination. Taking you to places that your soul remembers, vague memories in the back of your mind. Inspiration comes from listening to the gentle falling rain, the smell of a new born baby, the sight of an early morning mist rolling in from the ocean. You are here to live your life to the fullest without fear. Never forget that what inspires you lay deep within you. Never compromise and settle for less than who you are meant to be.
You belong...

(This message is dedicated to W, who inspires me to face my fears. We are all here with a purpose, but we often hold ourselves hostage to be safe. Reading W's articles at this time reminds me not to settle for less or for what I never wanted in the first place. W - I was blessed to have had the opportunity to meet you.)
