Knowing What You Know

How many times do you find yourself getting frustrated because you don’t have the information you need to complete what you are working on? Stopping to ask questions will only slow you down and makes you dependent on others who you don’t want to bother. But if you really think about it, how many people actually have all the information they need? Some people may act like they do, but in reality we only know what we know. Everyone has an area that they know best, whether it’s their work, family, or personal interests. So what is it about not having information readily available that makes you uncomfortable. It may not be about your willingness to ask others for help, but more about not accepting who you are and valuing the knowledge you do have. So in the future when you find yourself needing help, know that often times you’ll gain much more than the information you seek.
