Sometimes you spend so much time trying to change other people, that you forget that change begins with you. It’s easier to identify the faults of others than it is to recognize the weaknesses within ourselves. If you take the time to look at what bothers you, you may find that it’s the very thing that you’ve been trying to overcome. So pause for a moment and think of all the things that others do that irritate you. Can you recognize any of these traits within yourself? Instead of being judgmental of others, use this time to better yourself. You’ll be surprised at how much nicer people will be when you focus on yourself instead of others.
