It’s frustrating when a habit you thought was long gone has resurfaced. Knowing that this is a struggle that never seems to end is not encouraging. What can you do to make it go away forever? Trying to control an instinctive reaction is almost impossible because you find yourself responding to something before you consciously realize what is happening. At this point all you can do is damage control, to be in the moment and acknowledge your reaction with compassion. You are no more or less because of your internal struggle. Remember that this too shall pass and you will recover from all that cause you harm. Breathe and know that the Universe is here to support you on your path.
