Sometimes no matter what you do you can’t prepare for the unexpected. You have your plans laid out and hopefully everything goes as scheduled. But then something occurs that you never expected. You catch the flu, the internet goes down or you have guests that drop by uninvited. Whatever the reason, you can’t be prepared for everything. So what are you going to do? It’s your response to the situation that is important. The choices you make from then on will decide whether your day will turn out better than what you had originally planned or be the worst. But one thing you can depend on is life throwing you a curve every once and awhile. So make each day joyful, whether you are sick in bed with the flu, writing in a journal instead of on the computer, or enjoying your guests’ company. Know the choices you make are always up to you.
When your alarm breaks, just listen for the crowing of the rooster…
