Welcome to the New Year! It’s a year of change and you are meeting it with the determination that it will be a prosperous year for you. But it’s funny how quickly the resolutions you made last night are already challenging you. You made them with such good intentions but you may have disregarded a few of them in the first hours of the day. Instead of getting discouraged, know that making resolutions are just the first step in acknowledging your weaknesses and trying to better yourself. The second step which is the most difficult is having the patience and commitment to reach your goals successfully. So if you find yourself getting off the path of good intentions, forgive yourself and do better next time. Changing behaviors do not happen overnight, so be compassionate to yourself and others for the change you want for yourself is coming.
