Many of us are gifted storytellers, weaving tales of sorrow and woe of the future. It’s as if we are seers, who prophesize our own misfortune. In our version of what is to come, we are only pawns having no control over our lives. There is no wrong in the stories that we repeatedly tell ourselves, for the stories keep us from being hurt and protect ourselves from failure. If we expect the worse, than anything that happens will always be better than our best horror story. But in order to receive all that the universe has planned for us, we will need to learn to tell other kinds of stories. Tales of hope, of courage, of strength, and faith that tomorrow will bring us good fortune. Knowing that experiencing life is better for us than hiding in the darkness telling tales of doom. Today, tell a story that is truly befitting the life you’d like to live. Encourage those around you to also rewrite their future. Tell a story that spreads the word of compassion and truth.
There are many ways that we share our stories, some of us express ourselves through art...
