Sometimes in life we hold on so tightly to our burdens that we have difficulty opening our arms to new opportunities. For if we did, everything that we've been holding would tumble out of control. We are filled with fear of the "What ifs?" The trouble with "what ifs" is that we are never statisfied with the answers that we come up with to that question. Getting caught up in the cycle of our fears leads us to immobility. By releasing our burdens to the universe, we are free to explore life more fully. Today, push aside your worries just for a moment. They will be waiting for you tomorrow. Now have yourself a day of pleasure. The universe flows much more easily through us when we have our arms open to receive.
Sharing a meal with friends is sometimes the best remedy...for anything.
(This was the "small" calzone from Nicola's Pizza and Pasta in Portland, OR. It tasted as good as it looked. You should have seen the "large" one.)
